P.S. Unfortunately we are not able to take little ones as our place is not terribly safe. The B&B is on a long'ish driveway and the B&B itself is not set up for kiddies, so sorry about this. Babes in arms are fine and we have a cot with nice new bedding. Well supervised children from the age of around 10 are fine depending on their maturity and realisation of their unique surroundings.
As you can see by our website, we feature two of our grandchildren, whom we love dearly, so it's not that we don't enjoy children.

Absolutely delightful. The cottage was more amazing than the photos suggest and the very very warm welcome from Sue and Blair added to our stay and our trip. Not only do we give the olde bakery our highest recommendation, we would go out of our way to stay there again to enjoy the atmosphere and the way Sue has thought of everything to make the stay perfect. Three weeks on the road and this was the standout accommodation of all the places we stayed.

We stayed two nights in late May 08. Sue had the fire going when we arrived and the place had all the comforts of home. A great location for exploring the region and I'd imagine the best bed and food in the area for tired rail trailers. We thoroughly recommend this place - a totally charming little cottage and great hosts who treat you like a guest, not an inconvenience.

If you want romance this is the place to stay. A little off the road but so worth it.
